Professor Kiyotoshi Sekiguchi has been awarded the Ichimura Prize in Science by the Ichimura Foundation for New Technology.
This is a prestigious award presented to individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of science and technology in Japan.

The award ceremony was held at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo on Friday, April 17, 2026.
