Institute for Protein Research (IPR) is a research institute attached to Osaka University and is an open institution for international protein scientists and motivated students. We have a Visiting Professor position and about 100 graduate students. IPR encourages international collaboration and extensive exchange of students through several supporting programs.

IPR support the Protein Data Bank Japan (PDBj) that curate, edit and process the experimentally determined 3D atomic structural data of biological macromolecules. PDBj is a member of world wide PDB.
