On Wednesday, June 25th, a ceremony was held to award Professor Young Ho Lee of the Korea Basic Science Institute the title of “The University of Osaka Global Alumni Fellow.” Executive Vice President Yasushi Fujio presented him with the certificate of title.
The “The University of Osaka Global Alumni Fellow” is a title bestowed upon graduates of the university who are active overseas, as part of the university’s efforts to build its international network.
After obtaining his doctorate at the Institute for Protein Research (then affiliated with the Department of Macromolecular Science, Graduate School of Science), Professor Lee became a faculty member at the same institute. He is currently at the Korea Basic Science Institute, where he is actively engaged in advanced research utilizing state-of-the-art, ultra-high field NMR spectroscopy.
